Smooth Tartan Target – One Training Tool, Endless Possibilities!
Our smooth tartan targets are versatile training aids suitable for dogs of all ages and training levels. They help develop coordination, movement precision, body awareness, and independence during training.
Thanks to the variety of sizes and shapes, they are perfect not only for agility but also for obedience, dog fitness, trick training, position training, and everyday training activities.
Which Target Size Should You Choose?
10 × 10 cm – Precise Paw Work
Our smallest target is ideal for nose touches, individual paw placement, precise movements, and trick training. A great tool for developing coordination and accuracy.
10 × 30 cm – Position Training & Stops
This narrow target is particularly useful for teaching precise obedience positions, stopping exercises, rear-end awareness, and agility training. It helps dogs understand the correct position and accurate paw placement.
30 × 40 cm, 30 × 50 cm & 30 × 60 cm – Dogwalk Targets
These sizes are especially recommended for training stopped contact zones on the dogwalk in agility. They provide a clearly defined surface to help dogs learn accurate stopping positions and correct paw placement.
They can also be used for dog fitness, static position training, and other exercises focused on coordination and precision.
Which Color Should You Choose?
For agility targets, we particularly recommend purple and shades of blue. Dogs distinguish blue and yellow tones more easily than red and green, making blue and purple options a popular choice. However, contrast with the training surface is also important for visibility.
